Okoboji, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The owners of Parks Marina have announced the sale of several of its properties located West of Highway 71. Debbie and Butch Parks purchased Okoboji Boatworks in Smith’s Bay 24 years ago, and had hoped to replicate their popular Barefoot Bar that’s located on East Lake Okoboji.

Parks tells Northwestiowanow.com they’re also selling property along higway 71 adjacent to Brooks Golf Club, O’Ferrell’s Restaraunt, and the Central Emporium in Arnolds Park. She understands realtor Michael Jenson will run the Emporium, but isn’t sure about the other entities.

Parks says the sale will allow some capital improvements at the original Marina on East Lake.
