Sioux Center, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — An Ocheyden woman residing in a residential treatment facility in Sioux Center has been charged for allegedly stealing prescription drugs from another resident.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s department was charged earlier this month with 3rd degree burglary. The affidavit from the sheriff’s department says 33-year-old Kristen Nuzem was cleaning the apartment of another person while that person was serving time in the Woodbury County jail. Investigators believe she took 27 Vyvanse pills that did not belong to her.

The drug is prescribed for ADHD. The Sheriff’s Department believes Nuzem took 4 pills during a previous incident.
