Newton, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A Buena Vista County man serving 10 years has died in prison.
The Iowa Department of Corrections says 23-year-old Malga Yanga was pronounced dead at 6:06 Wednesday morning at the Newton Correctional Facilty.
Yanga’s court record in Buena Vista County is lengthy and includes car theft and eluding authorities. In August of 2020 he was convicted of 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse and also a related charge of harassment and was sentenced to a decade behind bars.
