(Northwestiowanow.com) — It appears that paving on the highway 71 project through Arnolds Park has been completed, including all or most of the curb cuts for driveways. Work now shifts to the new sidewalk on the West side of the roadway.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced that work on Highway 4 has been completed, and the roadway between Dunnell to Sherburn has been reopened to traffic.

And Spencer Municipal Utilities is scheduled to do more hydrant flushing this week. This time the area affected is 4th Avenue West to 10th Avenue East, and Park Street to 18th Street. Residents should put in basement sewer plugs and are reminded they could experience temporary periods of discolored water and low pressure.
