Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — The Dickinson County Sheriff’s department has charged a Royal man with several counts, after an incident in which he allegedly broke the windows of a car with a tire iron and threatened the occupant.

43 year old Jedediah Olsen was arrested early Saturday morning in the Frances Sites area of Spirit Lake. A criminal complaint on file with the county says Olsen threatened the female victim inside the vehicle and another person who saw the incident happen.

He has been charged with going armed with intent, assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, domestic abuse assault while displaying or using a weapon, assault while participating in a felony, along with 1st degree harassment and 2nd degree criminal mischief.
