PALO ALTO, IA (Northwestiowanow) – A Ruthven woman has been arrested following a second offense theft investigation.

On Thursday, June 19, at approximately 11:35 a.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office executed a valid search warrant related to a second offense theft, classified as a Class D felony. During the search, deputies located and arrested 41-year-old Jodi Cruz of Ruthven.

Cruz was transported without incident to the Palo Alto County Jail. A cash-only bond was set at $7,500. Unable to post bail, Cruz was booked into custody and is awaiting her initial appearance before a magistrate.
