Sanborn, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) – A Sanborn man is now behind bars, facing serious drug charges after being caught allegedly selling methamphetamine multiple times within a thousand feet of a local school and park.
Authorities say 29-year-old Hunter William Koontz sold meth four times to an informant, with each transaction taking place within a thousand feet of the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Middle School, the Sanborn City Park, and the city swimming pool.
Court documents show the alleged drug deals happened on February 10th, and again on March 10th and April 1st. In total, Koontz is accused of selling more than 46 grams of the drug.
Warrants for his arrest were issued on September 8th and he was arrested the following day.
