(Northwestiowanow.com) — Under state law, auditor’s offices across Iowa must offer early voting on the Saturday before the election.
Here in the Broadcast area three counties – Cherokee, Emmet, and Palo Alto – will have polling sites open from 8am to 5pm. The other six – Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson, O’Brien, Osceola, and Pocahontas – will be open from 9am until 5pm.
And a reminder that curbside voting will be an option in Clay County on Monday in the parking lot of the county administration building from 8am until 4pm.
It’s a General Election which means polls in Iowa will be open from 7am until 9pm Tuesday.
If you were intending to vote absentee by mail, remember votes must be in the custody of the county auditor’s office by the time the polls close on Tuesday. If you mail them and they arrive Wednesday – they will not count.
