AYRSHIRE, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Two Palo Alto County residents were arrested in Ayrshire on drug charges.

Last Wednesday at 3:03 PM, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on 1201 Silver Lake Avenue in Ayrshire. As a result of the search and ongoing investigation, authorities arrested Scott Allen Riley, 36, of Ayrshire, and Roxanne Marie Harrington, 38, of Spencer.

Riley was charged with third-offense possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Harrington was arrested on four valid Clay County warrants.

The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office.
