Spirit Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — An admitted Dickinson County sex offender has received his prison sentence.

19 year old Mykuya Kleveland has been serving time at the Dickinson County jail since being arrested in May. He was charged with lascivious acts with a child and second degree sexual abuse of a child at that time. In a deal worked out with prosecutors, he later pled guilty to third degree sexual abuse.

The judge this week ordered Kleveland to ten years in prison with credit for time already served. After that he will be required to wear a monitoring device and to register as a sex offender.
