Sheldon, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The city of Sheldon has hired a consultant for a park masterplan. City Manager Sam Kooiker says they’ll go to park by park.

The public will have impute as the plans progress. Kooker tells KICD News a surprise, anonymous, donor allowed a major upgrade of the playground at Sunrise Park at 108 North 18th Avenue. Inclusive equipment was a priority due to the park’s proximity to Village Northwest, and an elementary school.
