SHELDON, IA (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — A 32-year-old Sibley man, Jonathan Taylor Seymour Onnen, is scheduled to appear in court following an incident Monday night at the Main Street 3 Theaters in Sheldon.

According to criminal complaints, Onnen was attending a screening of “Scream 7” while wearing a dress without undergarments. Three theater employees reported seeing Onnen on security footage lifting the dress to expose himself.

When Sheldon Police arrived at the 9th Street location around 8:20 p.m., Onnen allegedly fled on foot before being apprehended. Authorities state he then resisted being placed in a patrol unit by kicking at officers. During transport to the O’Brien County Jail, Onnen reportedly slammed his head into the vehicle’s security divider, defacing it and requiring later cleaning by staff.

Onnen is charged with indecent exposure, interference with official acts, two counts, and fifth degree criminal mischief.  All charges are misdemeanors, Onnen posted a cash bond and was released from jail March 10.  A preliminary hearing is set for March 20 at the O’Brien County Courthouse.
