Sioux Central’s Nora Christian ran a time of 21:45.11 to place 4th. Breyer Anderson of Alta-Aurelia would finish 5th with a time of 21:50.05. Marley Madsen of Sioux Central took 7th, finishing in 22:18.68. Sioux Central’s Karina Bloom ran 23:32.92 to place 10th.

Sioux Central and Alta-Aurelia would tie at 36 points. The scoring went to the 6th runner tiebreaker where Sioux Central’s Quinn Wilkinson was 18th with a time of 25:04.97 to beat out Alta-Aurelia’s Lainey Buckendahl who ran 25:26.18 to finish 20th.

For the boy’s race, Lucos Wernimont of Sioux Central won with a time of 17:25.27. Jacob Launderville of Alta-Aurelia would run 17:57.52 to place 2nd. Following him was Leighton Sippel of Sioux Central with a time of 18:22.4. MMCRU’s Lucas Braun was 4th with a time of 18:34.48. Jack Christian of Sioux Central was 6th with a time of 18:50.23 with his teammate Landon Driver just behind him at 18:54.06. MMCRU’s Clint Staab was 8th at 19:17.52. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn’s Aiden Bush clocked 19:30.44 to finish 9th.

Sioux Central ran away with the team title, scoring 29 points. Alta-Aurelia was 2nd with 74 and Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn took 3rd at 91. MMCRU was 4th with 93.
