Sioux Rapids, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A year ago the city of Sioux Rapids had to move Tall Corn Days activities to higher ground, but Lacey Garberding says activities will be back downtown this year. There are activities Friday night, Sunday, and all-day Saturday including the parade at 10.

 

 

Garberding says the fireman’s dance is always well-attended, and this year it’s a good time to thank the volunteers.

 

 

Garberding notes that if you’re visiting Sioux Rapids for the first time since the flood, you’ll notice that many businesses have changed locations.
