Milford, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Milford Police are asking for tips in an investigation into a “skimmer” device on a credit card reader. Chief Shilo Brevik has not revealed what day the device was discovered by employees at the Sunshine Foods grocery store, but believe employees discovered it shortly after it was installed. It is unknown if any customer’s card information was compromised.

The Federal Bureau of Investigations and Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations have been called in to assist.
