Spirit Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Saturday morning shoppers in Spirit Lake got to see their fire department in action up close. Chief Pat Daly says the fire at Walmart was so small they did not even evacuate the store.

Spirit Lake Fire answered the call at 9:30 and was on the scene for about an hour.
