Spencer, IA (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — After 3 decades of dedicated service, John Cotton stepped down from his role on the Spencer Hospital Advisory Committee on Thursday. Cotton helped form Spencer Regional Healthcare Foundation in 1993 and joined the Foundation Board. He served 12 years on the Spencer Hospital Board of Trustees starting in 2005, and for the last several years has been an invaluable leader on the Advisory Committee.

Spencer CEO and President Brenda Tiefenthaler says Cotton’s leadership and vision were essential to the continued succes of Spencer Hospital. She says thanks to his guidance; Abben Cancer Center and the Foundation have provided critical support for the hospital’s growth.
