RUTHVEN, IA (Northwestiowanow) — A Spencer man is facing OWI charges after authorities responded to a report of a possible intoxicated driver leaving the Wild Rose Casino Saturday night.

According to the Palo Alto County Communications Center, the call came in around 10:47 p.m. on November 15. Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 3800 block of 360th Street near Ruthven.

Following an investigation, 34-year-old Joshua Robert Bubke of Spencer was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – 1st Offense, a serious misdemeanor, and Open Container of Alcohol, a simple misdemeanor.
