Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A Spencer man was taken into custody on three counts of sexual abuse.

After completion of a sex abuse investigation from July 2023 by the Department of Human Services, the Attorney General’s Office and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.  42-year-old Nathan Kuster of Spencer was taken into custody on three counts of sexual abuse second degree – all Class B felonies.

Kuster was taken to the Clay County Jail and appeared before the Magistrate Judge and was held on a $75,000 cash only bond.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Spencer Police Department.
