Sioux City, Iowa (Northwest Iowa Now) — A Spencer man has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges. 32-year-old Dylan Halbur admitted in Sioux City federal court to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Evidence presented showed that in August of last year, law enforcement recovered 45 grams of pure methamphetamine, along with cash and other drug-related items, from a camper where Halbur resided.

Halbur faces up to 20 years in prison and a substantial fine and remains in federal custody. The case was investigated by the Spencer Police Department, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, and the Iowa DCI Laboratory.
