Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — An accident on 11th street near Walmart Thursday night caused severe damage to the vehicles, but there were no injuries reported. Spencer Police report that a semi-truck with a flatbed trailer collided with a white cargo van.

The van was attempting to turn right to head eastbound on 11th street southwest, and the semi struck the vehicle as it turned. Neither driver was cited, and both vehicles were towed from the scene. Oil and fluids leaking from the vehicles was cleaned by the Spencer Fire Department, who aided the Spencer Police Department on the call.
