Spencer, IA (northwestiowanow.com) — A vehicle stuck in the ditch resulted in the driver eventually being arrested for driving while intoxicated. Friday night, December 27 at 11:20 pm, Deborah Kelley, 60 of Spencer, was northbound in the 3900 mile of 190th Avenue when she drove into the east ditch and became stuck.

Deputies responded and suspected Kelley was under the influence of alcohol. After sobriety testing, Kelley was charged with OWI and taken to the Clay County Jail and booked. Kelley is being held in jail until appearing before magistrate.
