Harlan, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The Spencer Tigers Cross Country teams competed at Harlan for the IHSAA and IGHSAU State Qualifying Meet.

In the girl’s race, Harlan’s Lindsey Sonderman won with a time of 18:10.5. Spencer’s Peyton Morey advances to State with an 8th place finish, clocking 19:51.6.

In the girls’ team standings, Glenwood won the site with 59 points, Harlan was 2nd with 71, and North Polk took 3rd with 76. Spencer was 6th at 159 points.

For the boy’s race, Cadel Conner of Grinnell won with a time of 16:14.07. Spencer’s Rylei Koppie advances to the State meet for the Tigers with a time of 17:01.28.

In the team standings, Grinnell won with 50 points, 3 points ahead of 2nd place ADM. Carlisle was a distant 3rd at 104. Spencer placed 5th with 138.
