Estherville, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The 103rd Dick Barrett Boys Track and Field Meet was held at the Estherville Lincoln Central Football Field and Track on Thursday.

Carson Storey of Okoboji was the Long Jump winner at 20 feet 2.5 inches.

In the High Jump, Emmetsburg’s Byron Maina took 1st at 6 feet.

For the Shuttle Hurdle Relay, The Pioneers had Graves, Simington, Jacobsen, and Heller go 59.56 to finish first.

Jace Hungerford of Spirit Lake won the 3000m Run at 10:48.1.

In the George Hicks Memorial 4x800m Relay, Spirit Lake’s Frangenberg, Trautman, Morrison, and Vandehoef won at 8:42.14.

For the 1600m Medley Relay, Spirit Lake won at 3:34.22.

Okoboji’s Evan Osler took the 400m Dash gold, running 49.14 seconds.

In the 100m Hurdles, it was Jerron Heller finishing first for Okoboji in 15.7 seconds.

For the 200m Dash, Spirit Lake’s Ethan Stecker won at 22.45 seconds.

Elijah Graves would take gold for Okoboji in the 400m Hurdles at 55.14 seconds.

The Team Title was taken handedly by Spirit Lake at 130 points, 45 in front of 2nd place Forest City.  Algona took 3rd at 78.  Okoboji was 4th, Spencer 5th, Storm Lake 6th, Estherville Lincoln Central 7th, GTRA 8th, Emmetsburg 9th, and North Union took 10th.
