Whittemore, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A West Bend man has been charged after a stabbing Saturday night in Whittemore. An altercation between two male subjects in the 400 block of Broad Street was reported around 9:45. The victim was taken to the Kossuth Regional Health Center where he was treated and released. Fisher says video surveillance led them to 27 year old Yoni Angula Antonio – who had fled the scene. He was charged with assault with the intent of inflicting bodily harm, disorderly condcut, and public intox.

The Kossuth County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s office, Algona Police Department, and Iowa State Patrol. Whittemore and Kossuth County EMS also responded.
