Storm Lake Police Participate in National Night Out

Storm Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Storm Lake Police Lieutenant Alissa Solem says her department is once again participating in National Night Out this year.

Block parties have been organized for:

* 13 Vista Drive, 6-8 p.m.

* 1105 Emerald Drive, 6-8 p.m.

* 300 block W. 8th St., 6-8 p.m.

* 1200 block Erie St., 6:30-8:30 p.m.

* 1300 block Lochedem Drive, 6-8 p.m.

* 201 Sunrise Park Road, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

* Chautauqua Park Drive (condos parking area). 6-7:30 p.m.

* 3000 block Leona Drive, 6-8 p.m.

* 1000 block E. 8th St., 5:30-7:30 p.m.

* 1700 block Shoreway Road, 6-8 p.m.

* 200 block Michigan Steet, 5:30-8 p.m.

Night Out started in Philadelphia in 1970, went nationwide in 1984, and Storm Lake has participated since 1990.
