Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — The Spencer Municipal Band is tuning up for its summer concert series, and co-directors Tom Rutt and Katie Bush have released this year’s schedule.

The music kicks off on Thursday, June 4th, at 7 pm at Westview Memorial Park. Bring your chairs, blankets and enjoy this live outdoor performance featuring local musicians of all ages.

Up next, the band heads to the East Leach Park Bandshell for two performances—first on Sunday, June 14th at 2 p.m.  and again on Thursday, June 18th at 7 p.m.

The community can also catch a 7 p.m. show at Riverview Terrace on Wednesday, June 24th, followed the very next night by a performance at the Clay County Fairgrounds under the Northwest Bank Tent Stage.

The summer series wraps up later in the season on Thursday, August 13th, with a 7 p.m. concert on the Courthouse Lawn in downtown Spencer.
