Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Once again the summer reading program at Spencer Library kicks off immediately after school concludes. Library Director Sara Beth Fuchsen and program director Robin Munsen say there’s a party Wednesday from 1 to 6.

Even though summer reading was devised for school children, the library includes ALL readers – even those too young to read for themselves yet.

You can register in person or on the Beanstack app, but even if you register online you’re encouraged to attend the kickoff- which includes snacks and activities.
