ESTHERVILLE, IA (Northwestiowanow) – Estherville’s Sweet Corn Days are back for the 2025 season. The four-day festival runs Thursday, July 31 through Sunday, August 3.
The celebration kicks off Thursday evening with a full slate of activities. Estherville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lexie Ruter says there’s something for everyone.
Friday will start with an open barn hosted by Estherville FFA, a golf tournament, and more.
Saturday features the Sweet Corn Days Parade at 10:30 AM, followed by the festival’s signature event—free sweet corn, with over 6,000 ears served. The day also includes the largest downtown market in the event’s history, live music, bubble shows, balloon animals, and more.
Sunday offers a slower pace with a pancake breakfast, disc golf tournament, the Des Moines River float, and a free pool party at the Estherville Aquatic Center.
