Spencer IA, (KICD)– The Spencer Kiwanis After Five Club is partnering with SCT Playhouse Basil & Mildred Deegan Children’s Theatre to provide bedding and beds to children in the Spencer area who lost them in the flood. Thanks to a grant from the Clay County Community Foundation, they were able to start a program they are calling Sweet Dreams for Spencer.

Johnson says that the application is available at the Spencer Public Library, or the Spencer Community Theater and Foundation Church distribution center. You can also e-mail for an application at sweetdreamsforspencer@gmail.com

Johnson expects delivery to begin in the first part of September.
