ARNOLDS PARK (Northwestiowanow) – A targeted law enforcement operation in Arnolds Park last Friday led to the arrest of nineteen individuals, with fifteen of those arrests tied to the possession and misuse of fake IDs.

On August 1, the Arnolds Park Police Department conducted checks at several local liquor-licensed establishments. The individuals arrested came from Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Arizona. Charges range from misuse of identification to obtain alcohol or tobacco, to public intoxication. In total, authorities seized fifteen fake IDs during the operation.

Of the nineteen arrested, ten were residents of Northwest Iowa. Paris Dean, Meghan Woodrow, and Chloe Hinckley of Spencer; Emily Puck and Reece Ziegmann of Carroll; Jack Grandgenett, Ava Kemna, and Cody Nielson of Algona; and Olivia Blum of Sac City were among those charged.

Paris Dean, Emily Puck, and Reece Ziegmann were each charged with misuse of ID to obtain alcohol and public intoxication. Meghan Woodrow was charged with misuse of ID to obtain alcohol and misuse of ID to obtain tobacco. Chloe Hinckley faced all three charges: misuse of ID to obtain alcohol, misuse of ID to obtain tobacco, and public intoxication. Jack Grandgenett and Olivia Blum were charged with misuse of ID to obtain alcohol and tobacco, along with public intoxication. Ava Kemna was charged with misuse of ID to obtain alcohol and tobacco, while Cody Nielson was charged solely with public intoxication.

All suspects were booked into the Dickinson County Jail.

The operation was supported by the Iowa State Patrol, Okoboji Police Department, Milford Police Department, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Dickinson County Jail and Communication Center.
