STORM LAKE, IA (Northwestiowanow) – As part of the ongoing lift station improvement project, King Construction will begin temporary street closures, affecting key routes near Buena Vista University and prompting detours for local traffic.

Starting July 7, King Construction will close 3rd Street for approximately three days to complete a sewer line crossing. Once that work is finished, crews will shift focus to a crossing on College Avenue.

Both roads are expected to reopen by July 18, weather permitting.

During construction, access to BVU Lot K (north parking lot) will remain open via the west drive, accessible from the north on College Avenue.
