Terril, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Yesterday we informed you about a house fire at 207 North 4th Street in Terril Wednesday. Terril, Wallingford, and Milford crews were all on hand. Fire Chief Jarrod Fischer said the fire and smoke damage was enough to displace the occupants.
Yesterday Fischer told KICD News that he and Milford Chief Jim Carpenter were able to re-enter the home, and they’ve determined the fire started in the basement.

Yesterday the news department got a tip that the Peterson fire department had been dispatched. We checked with Fire Chief Luke Zalaznik who told us a neighbor thought they saw smoke, but it turned out to be furnace exhaust. But as always, we appreciate the tip and ask you to call us when you see news happen in your community.
