Hartley, Iowa (Northwest Iowa Now) — A Hartley man is in custody after making threats early Sunday. 39-year-old Joshua Bosma was arrested by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office around 2:15 a.m. Deputies responded to a call about threats at a Hartley home. Upon arrival, they found Bosma had made verbal threats to multiple people. While the specifics are undisclosed, authorities deemed them serious. Bosma was arrested without incident, charged with third-degree harassment and public intoxication, and booked into the Osceola County Jail. The Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing.
