Windom, MN (Northwestiowanow.com) — An Albert Lea man died in a two-vehicle crash near Windom Tuesday night.

The Minnesota state patrol says 28-year-old Hunter Schwartz was Southbound on highway 71-, and 42-year-old Amy Pigman from Odin was Northbound when their vehicles collided around 6:30.
Schwartz was not wearing a safety belt.

Pigman and her three passengers were wearing safety restraints and received what are described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The state patrol also covered a one-vehicle accident near Jackson a few hours earlier. 61-year-old Randall Raak of Edgerton Minnesota was Eastbound on the interstate, lost control on ice, and rolled. He was taken to the hospital in Jackson with non-life-threatening injuries.

And a 15-year-old driver from Everly was taken to Spencer Hospital Tuesday night to be checked out after losing control of the S-10 pickup he was driving, flipping it onto its side in the roadway. The unidentified male driver was Northbound in the 35 hundred miles of 240th Avenue and the accident is blamed on slick conditions.
