Pomeroy, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation is expected to release more information about a double shooting and standoff today.

It appears two individuals were shot in Pomeroy Tuesday and taken to a hospital with wounds, and two others were arrested at an apartment in Manson.

The Fort Dodge Messenger says authorities used an armored vehicle in Manson to take the two suspects into custody.

The DCI says the incident involved five males who all knew each other.

Agencies involved are the DCI, State Patrol, Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department, Calhoun County Attorney’s Office, Fort Dodge Police, and Manson Police.
