Fort Dodge, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Spencer, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The Spencer Boys and Girls Basketball teams traveled to Fort Dodge for a Varsity Double-Header on Friday night. KICD brought you the coverage on News Radio 102.5 and AM 1240.

The Girls game was a low-scoring grind for four quarters.

Kennedy Greattinger came off the bench to lead Spencer with 13 points. 8 different Tigers scored on the night.

Spencer improves to 2-2 on the season while Fort Dodge drops to 1-2.

 

The Boys game featured some big momentum swings for the first couple of quarters.

Cael Bruning scored 26 in the win for Spencer. Foster Roos came off the bench to score 8 for the Tigers.

Spencer picks up their first win of the new year, evening up their record at 1-1 while Fort Dodge falls to 0-2.

The Spencer Girls and Boys will host Emmetsburg on Monday while Fort Dodgeopens up conference play Tuesday against Lincoln of Des Moines.
