For Girls High School Swimming on Saturday, Spencer attended the Wahawks Swimming and Diving Invite in Waterloo.

Halle Sears was 1st in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:00.68 with teammate Anna Quanbeck taking 5th at 2:25.68.

Jade Henson finished 4th in the 200y Individual Medley with a time of 2:42.94.

For the 50 Yard Freestyle, Maisy Schmidt took 3rd at 27.41 seconds.

Aubrey McFarland would take 3rd in the 100y Freestyle with a time of 59.98 seconds with Ava Vogt placing 8th at 1:03.13.

For the 500 Yard Freestyle, Tensley Cronin took 6th at a time of 6:26.95 with Anna Quanbeck finishing 8th at 6:34.11.

Spencer claimed the win in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a team of Schmidt, Vogt, McFarland and Sears clocking 1:48.03.

Sears came back with a first-place finish in the 100y Backstroke, hitting a time of 1:03.34 with McFarland in 3rd at 1:07.65.

Jade Henson was 5th in the 100y Breaststroke with a time of 1:21.85.

Spencer’s team of Sears, Vogt, Schmidt, and McFarland combined for a time of 4:01.36 to place 2nd in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.

Waterloo took the team title with 505 points; Decorah was 2nd at 437 and Grinnell took 3rd at 397. Spencer finished 4th with 381 points out of the 8 teams.
