Storm Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Storm Lake city council members seem to agree there are too many large trucks in residential areas, the question is how to restrict them.
Councilwoman Meg McKeon says signs showing the way to the highway is a place to start, especially on busy 5th street, which is already congested, and only two lanes.

But City Manager Keri Navratil says it’s not that easy.

Councilman Matt Rickleffs agrees there are trucks where they don’t belong, but there’s no obvious remedy.

City staff – including the city attorney – has been compiling information for the full council, and the issue continues to be researched by the traffic committee.
