Sheldon, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A Jackson, Minnesota man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop on Tuesday. Sheldon police pulled over 42-year-old Kody Johnson, suspecting he was driving without a license. Officers say they could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle, and a search turned up both marijuana and methamphetamine inside the car. A female passenger had six grams of meth in her clothing.

Police say the woman also passed them a note, stating that Johnson was selling her drugs. Johnson was arrested and charged with possession, drug trafficking, and driving under the influence.

It is not yet known if the female passenger has been charged.
