Lake City, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – South Central hosted the Brian Knapp SCC Invitational on Tuesday at South Central Calhoun High School.

In the Girls race, West Bend-Mallard’s Tyra Schupbach won with a time of 19:35.44.  2nd place was Ridge View’s Addison Tesch at 20:28.69.  Newell-Fonda rattled off 3rd, 4th, and 5th place with Danika Meyer leading the way at 20:38.75, Mareni Brabec was 20:30.55, and Quinn Sievers was 20:54.55.

Sioux Central took 6th and 7th with Sage Weber at 21:06.56 and Marley Madsen running 21:19.4.  Also in the top 10 for the Rebels was Nora christian at 21:41.08 in 9th.

Sawyer Storms led Pocahontas Area with a 24th place time of 23:16.59.

For the Boys race, Riley Aragon of East Sac County won with a time of 16:51.9 with Lucos Wernimont right on his heals in 2nd at 16:52.9.  East Sac County also took 3rd and 4th with Landon Sporrer running 16:58.7 and Owen Engel 4th at 17:23.03.  Jack Christian of Sioux Central placed 5th at 17:25.65.

Jac Launderville of Alta-Aurelia led the Warriros in 8th at 17:59.04.

Up front for Newell-Fonda was Austin Barber at 19:36.63 in 30th.
