Primghar, IA (Northwestiowa.com) — The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Department has released the crash report from an accident between two semis back on December 27th.

Shortly after 1am, 34 year old Marcus Jones of Bellevenue, Nebraska was Southbound on Highway 59 near Primghar, crossed the center line, and struck the Northbound semi driven by 31 year old Lee Brownmiller from Ocheyedan. Both drivers received minor injuries with Brownmiller taken by ambulance to the hospital in Sheldon.

Jones told the deputy his steering wheel locked up, causing the accident, and was cited for failure to maintain control.  Combined damage was estimated at 180 thousand dollars.
