Orange city IA, (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Two Spencer residents were arrested after a traffic stop in Boyden. According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday November 16th, 48-year-old Christopher McGee and 43-year-old Amanda McGee both of Spencer were arrested.
During the traffic stop in Boyden officers discovered that Christopher McGee’s driver’s license was barred and had multiple warrants from other jurisdictions.
A police K9 from Rock Valley was requested to sniff the vehicle and the K9 positively indicated the presence of a controlled substance. Following the search drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine were discovered in the vehicle.
Christopher McGee and Amanda McGee were both transported to the Sioux county jail. Christopher was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a bar driver’s license and Amanda was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.
