(Northwestiowanow.com) — — The unofficial election results are in for the races in the KICD Broadcast area.
In Clay County Donald Trump carried the county with 6,044 votes compared to kamala Harris’s 2,366 votes. In representative District 4 Congressman Randy Feenstra carried Clay County with 5,917 votes compared to Ryan Melton 2,252 votes. For the Board of Supervisors both Art Hamrick with5,631 votes and Randy E Swanson 6,292 votes were elected for supervisor.
For Clay County Auditor Ann Baschke Was elected unopposed with 7,101 votes and for Clay County Sheriff Chris Raveling was elected unopposed with 7,458 votes.
In in Dickinson County
The Okoboji school bond issue has passed. A few votes in Clay County have yet to be counted, but in the Dickinson County the 69-million-dollar proposal got 62.86 percent of the vote. 2,567 yes votes to 1,517 no.
There will be two new Dickinson County supervisors in January. Challenger Levi Markwardt has defeated incumbent Tim Fairchild in District #5. The final tally was 1,244 to 689.
In District #3 Steve Dullard was elected with 1,560 votes. He defeated incumbent Jeff Thee in the Republican primary in June. Thee mounted a write-in campaign and received 667 votes in the general.
Sheriff Greg Baloun and Auditor Lori Pederson were re-elected without opposition, and Acting County Attorney Steve Goodlow was elected to a full term, also without a challenger on the ballot.
In Emmett County
Donald Trump carried the county with 3,422 votes compared to Kamala Harris’s 1,315 votes.
For Representative District 4 Congressman Randy Feenstra carried the county with 3,330 votes compared to Ryan Melton’s 1,215.
For the County Board of Supervisors race in the lead was Tim Schumacher with 2,292 votes next it was Lisa Hanson with 2,764 votes next was Todd Glasnapp with 2,322 votes Followed by Brandon Carlin with 2,118 votes followed by Adam J Edwards (AJ) with 879 votes.
Heidi Huntsinger Goebel was elected as county auditor on opposed with 4,055 votes and Justin Schultes was elected as county sheriff with 3,960 votes.
In Buena Vista County
Donald Trump carried Buena Vista County with 4,962 votes to 2,460 for Kamala Harris. Congressman Randy Feenstra received 4,635 votes to Ryan Melton’s 2,207. The county candidates had no opposition. Sheriff Kory Elston and Auditor Sue Lloyd were re-elected. Rhonda Ringgenberg was elected to Supervisors District 4 and Daniel Hartman was elected in District 5.
In Cherokee County
Donald Trump carried the county with 4,398 votes compared to Kamala Harris is 1,611. For representative District 4 Congressman Randy Feenstra carried the county with 4,411 votes compared to Ryan Melton’s 1,436 votes.
For county Board of Supervisors District 1 Ray E Mullins II won unopposed with 4,727 votes.
In the county Board of Supervisors District 2 Bryan Petersen won unopposed with 4,921 votes.
In county Board of Supervisors District 5 Shane Bellefy with 3,520 votes defeated Stephanie Zarr who had 2,056 votes.
Kris Glienke on opposed as County Auditor with 5,075 votes and Derek Scott was elected County Sheriff with 5,287 votes.
In O’Brien County
Donald Trump carried O’Brien County with 5,995 votes compared to Kamala Harris’s 1,427.
In the United States Representative District 4 for O’Brien County Congressman Randy Feenstra had 5,744 votes Rayn Milton had 1,368 votes.
For county Board of Supervisors District 1 Jim Thomas won unopposed with 6,121 votes. In county Board of Supervisors District 2 Barbara Rohwer, one unopposed with 6, 289 votes. County board of Supervisor’s District 3 Nancy McDowell won unopposed with 6,069 votes.
Rhea Schmalen, one county auditor unopposed with 5,970 votes and Bruce Devereaux one county sheriff with 6,152 votes.
In Osceola County
Donald Trump carried the county with 2,621 votes compared to Kamala Harris’s 555 votes.
For representative District 4 congressman Randy Feenstra carried the county with 2,561 votes
compared to Ryan Melton’s 518.
For the County Board of Supervisors District 2 seat Jayson Vande Hoef won unopposed with 528 votes.
For the County Board of Supervisor’s district 4 Jerry Helmers won unopposed with 643 votes.
For the Board of Supervisors District 5 Jeff Loring won unopposed with 578 votes.
For county auditor Rochelle Van Tilburg won unopposed with 2,895 votes and Kevin Wollmuth was elected County Sheriff unopposed with 2,869 votes.
In Palo Alto County
Donald Trump carried Palo Alto County in the Presidential race with 3,576 votes to 1,338 for Kamala Harris.
In the Congressional Race Incumbent Randy Feenstra carried the county with 3,531 votes to Ryan Melton’s 1,234.
There were no contested county races. Incumbent Sheriff John King and Incumbent Auditor Carmen Moser were re-elected. Roger Faulstick was elected supervisor in District 3 and Ronald Graettinger was elected in District 4.
Voters in the Emmetsburg school district defeated a 29.75-million-dollar bond issue for construction of a new elementary school. The vote was nearly split 1,247 yes to 1,211 no. Bond issues in Iowa require a 60 percent “super majority” for passage.
In Pocahontas County
Donald Trump carried the county with 2,727 votes to Kamala Harris’s 794.
In the Congressional Race Incumbent Randy Feenstra carried the county with 2,668 to
to Ryan Melton’s 714.
For the Board of Supervisors District 1 Peter Seehusen won the district with 382
Jeffrey K Ives with 318 votes.
For the Board of Supervisors District 3 Kyle Smith won unopposed with 576 votes and 4 board of Supervisors District 5 Louis Stauter won the district unopposed with 495 votes.
Wanita Nita Hinrickson was elected unopposed as county auditor with 3,022 votes
And Steven E Nelson was elected as County Sheriff unopposed with 3,034 votes
