Spencer, Ia (KICD) – Storm Lake hosted their Cross Country Meet on Tuesday.

In the girl’s race, Harlan’s Lindsey Sonderman won with a time of 18:34.44. Spencer’s Peyton Morey took 3rd with a time of 20:03.65. Silvia Kampbell of Storm Lake placed 7th with a time of 20:32.14.

Harlan took the girls team title with 52 points; all 5 scorers were in the top 20. Spencer placed 4th with 105 points, getting all 5 scorers in teh top 30. Storm Lake took 6th and Cherokee was 8th.

For the Boys race, North of Sioux City’s Ben Hames won with a time of 17:8.03. Spencer’s Nathan Rodriguez placed 2nd, clocking 17:28.96, his teammate Rylei Koppie took 6th with a time of 17:54.33 and Carson Krogman, also of Spencer, took 8th with a time of 17:55.83.

MOC-Floyd Valley won the boys team title with 45 points, fitting all 5 scorers in the top 20. Spencer finished 2nd with 77. Storm Lake was 4th and Cherokee placed 5th.

MMCRU was at the Woodbury Central Invitational in Moville at Meadows Golf Course.

KP/WC/RV’s Rachel Putze won the girls race with a time of 20:53.86.

MMCRU’s top placer was Aalisa Pajazetovic with a time of 25:12.42 in in 12th.

Lawton-Bronson took the girls team title with 55 points and MMCRU was 6th.

Sergeant Bluff-Luton took the top two spots in the Boys race with Daniel Dolarosa running a time of 18:51.72 and Andrew Lincoln Clocking 18:56.89. MMCRU’s Lucas Braun was 5th with a time of 19:17.56.

Sergeant Bluff-Luton put their top 5 in the top 15, including all of the top 4 in the top 10 to win the team title with 29 points. MMCRU placed 6th.
