The Clay County woman charged with stealing items from an elderly patient earlier this year has reached a plea agreement with the Buena Vista County Attorney’s office.

A 21-year-old man died in a one vehicle accident Friday night near the South Dakota border in Lyon County.

A vehicle stuck in the ditch resulted in the driver eventually being arrested for driving while intoxicated. Friday night, December 27 at 11:20 pm, Deborah Kelley, 60 of Spencer, was northbound in the 3900 mile of 190th Avenue when she drove into the east ditch and became stuck.
