Miranda began her journey at Heartland Kennels in high school, where she quickly became known for her genuine care, patience, and ability to connect with pets and their families. Today, she oversees and leads the resort’s comprehensive pet services — from customized training programs that strengthen obedience and owner-pet communication, to full-service grooming that keeps pets looking and feeling their best, to nurturing boarding experiences that feel just like home.

Under her guidance, Heartland Pet Resort has grown into one of the only facilities in NW Iowa with a dedicated training academy, professional grooming salon, enrichment daycare, and expansive boarding options — all delivered with compassionate expertise and personalized attention. Miranda’s philosophy centers on creating a safe, joyful, and enriching environment where every pet can thrive.
