Officials say they are requesting that residents do not park on city streets between the hours of midnight and 7am so the street department can remove snow from our roadways.

That means absolutely no parking on public streets, alleys, or city-owned lots.

In the downtown district, keep streets clear from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.

The driver crossed the center line, overcorrected and entered the South ditch where he struck a driveway and rolled several times.

Throughout the holiday season, a wreath with red lights will be displayed in front of the Storm Lake Fire Station.

Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
