Iowa City, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors has engaged an engineer to design a new outlet for the Iowa Great Lakes chain. Hydrologist Larry Weber – director of the Iowa Flood Center – has looked at the plans.

Weber tells northwestiowanow.com he believes the decisions not to breach the current road that regulates outflow during the flood was the right one.

Larry Weber is the Director of the Iowa Flood Center headquartered at the University of Iowa.
