The Siouxland Conference had their Girls Wrestling Tournament on Tuesday.

Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Cheyenne Williams took 2nd at 105 with Okoboji/HMS’s Kenadie Neavin 3rd.

Brooke Stockdale of Okoboji/HMS was 2nd at 110.

At 115, Okoboji/HMS’s Dulce Ortega claimed the Championship.

Lillie Marco of Sibley-Ocheyedan finished 1st at 120.

Okoboji/HMS’s Brilee Fauth was 3rd at 125.

At 135, Kimberly Bergeson of Okoboji/HMS placed 2nd.

Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Reagan Rusche took 3rd at 155.

Jenessa Gates of Okoboji/HMS was 3rd at 170.

At 190, Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Samantha Morales placed 3rd.

Valarie Cook of Sheldon took 3rd at 235.

Central Lyon/George-Little Rock claimed the Conference Championship with 235.5 points, Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley was 2nd at 190, and MOC-Floyd Valley placed 3rd with 159. Okoboji/HMS was 4th, Sibley-Ocheyedan 6th, and Sheldon 8th.

Also, for Girls Wrestling, Emmetsburg went 0-3 in some Twin Lakes Conference Duals, losing 35-10 to Manson-Northwest Webster, 30-12 against Ogden, and 24-18 to South Central Calhoun.

GTRA/ELC, Sioux Central, and Spirit Lake/Park met for some Duals. GTRA/ELC beat Sioux Central 30-24. It was Spirit Lake/Park over GTRA/ELC 23-22, and Sioux Central won against Spirit Lake/Park 40-24 as each team went 1-1 on the night.

In Boys Wrestling, Okoboji/HMS, Estherville Lincoln Central, and Cherokee were at a Dual meet hosted by Algona. Cherokee would lose to Algona 74-3, Estherville Lincoln Central beat Cherokee 47-36, Okoboji/HMS topped Cherokee 69-12, Estherville Lincoln Central dropped to Algona 69-4, Okoboji/HMS beat Estherville Lincoln Central 46-36, and Okoboji/HMS lost to Algona 56-20.

Also in Boys Wrestling, Storm Lake and Sheldon/South O’Brien were at a dual meet alongside North of Sioux City and Woodbury Central. Sheldon/South O’Brien beat North of Sioux City 50-30, Storm Lake would pick up a win against Sheldon/South O’Brien 62-20, Sheldon/South O’Brien fell to Woodbury Central 63-15, Storm Lake rolled past North of Sioux City 67-25, and Storm Lake dropped to Woodbury Central 73-12.

Spencer and Sibley-Ocheyedan were at a Dual meet along with Hinton. Sibley-Ocheyedan lost to Hinton 57-6, Spencer beat Sibley-Ocheyedan 44-29, and Spencer fell to Hinton 41-24.

GTRA, Sioux Central, and Spirit Lake/Park had a Dual meet. GTRA topped Spirit Lake/Park 45-33, GTRA would beat Sioux Central 52-18, Sioux Central edged out Spirit Lake/Park 41-40.

Emmetsburg was at a Twin Lakes Conference Dual Meet. The E-Hawks won against Manson-Northwest Webster 50-22 and South Central Calhoun 45-36.
